DC’s co-founder, Ken Block and Subaru have joined hands to build what is supposed to be the world’s fastest Snowcat vehicle. The TRAX STI is a snow vehicle that has the body of a Subaru WRX STI and snow cat tracks with specially-designed suspensions to make it the ultimate vehicle for back country access for snowboarding. The TRAX STI has been prepared by Vermont SportsCar and specifications include a 5-speed close-ratio dog-engagement gearbox, a 4-cylinder, 2.5 liter, turbocharged and intercooled STI engine that is specially tuned with a MOTEC M800 ECU. Besides, it also has enough horsepower, 400, to give it the right amount of pull and speed.
