Time is Money.
Easy to repeat, hard to master.
A lot of us are always wanting the big payday and we talk about it blog about and claim it live it. But we don’t follow through.
There’s a few simple ways that your time isn’t making you money and the money you spend isn’t buying you time.
Wasted time.
Wasted funds.
Wasted revenues.
Wasted efforts.
-Wasted time.
Easy idea. A lot of people waste time in a business they won’t follow thru on. A lot of others simply won’t spend time in the right arenas. Example: you run 30 minutes on the treadmill and go home and gorge yourself on sweets, a six pack of soda, cake and ice cream and then a cigarette. You wasted time in the gym when you went home and didn’t live the accompanying lifestyle. Another way most people waste time is simply sitting in front of the boob tube. Why spend years of your life watching tv? A business may be built in less time than most of us spend watching television. The list goes on and on but another big success killer in this category is simply not executing your ideas. Any amount of action beats inaction. Start soon and build momentum. Before this blog I had a different one I experimented with and learned blogging with. Before blog sites became the norm I had a website. The key here is simply ACTION. Set your plan in motion TODAY.
-Wasted funds.
Investing money into a venture you are skeptical on- wasted funds.
Spending money on an auto-ship you don’t want or will use- wasted funds. Don’t spend money on a business you won’t enjoy and use. Would you open an hvac company knowing you aren’t good in this field? Of course not. So why would you buy vitamins you hate or energy from a supplier you don’t trust. When you sink money into a venture and don’t follow through 200 percent you wasted your money. I’ve seen people take courses, plunk down 500 dollars and more. Just to do nothing but act- yes ACT like big shots. Don’t act like a winner, play like one. Derek Jeter comes to win. Jordan didn’t have a hobby but a profession. Tiger Woods, Michael Phelps- they make moves and the money they spend is to achieve exponential growth.
-Wasted revenues.
A lot of us loose out on this. We waste not the money we invest in the business by not building- but we waste any profits as a child squanders a small allowance. Every dollar you make goes back into the business or into an investment. That money folks, isn’t yours. When that check yields CHECKS- than spend a small sum. And I don’t mean avoiding business trips, or courting clients. Heck have a small dinner out. But plan. That first check should be held in a misers grip.
-Wasted efforts.
Now wasted efforts isn’t the same thing as wasted time. You can spend hour after hour chasing leads but the wrong leads or old leads are a waste of your efforts.
When you beat a dead horse you get nothing. And when you chase the same four people in your warm market you only piss people off. Actually you also build a reputation as a jerk, a zealot, and an ineffective rep and leader. Also when you get comfortable, find a good groove that you enjoy, yup you’re wasting efforts. Growth comes from going beyond. Muscle is built when you eek out that extra rep, when you add that extra pound. What will you do to get the results you want? If you only do what’s comfortable you will get nowhere. Sales, opt-ins, and high recruiting numbers all come from talking to more people. Not your same five friends. Also wasted efforts can be spent on bad ventures. A lot of people wasted time on Zeek Rewards. Not because they were bad people or ignorant. They just fell for hype. That’s a prime example of wasted effort as well. Do your research folks. And don’t waste time on anything that doesn’t yield vast results. And not just monetary results. Growing as an entrepreneur and as a person is a grand reward as well. Wealth, success, and happiness can be achieved together if you focus and don’t waste your efforts.
Time is money so waste neither.
And lastly time is a valuable commodity that you can’t get more of so use it wisely my friends.
