Ask for Help- it can make You Powerful

13 Feb

A lot of times, pride dictates louder than reason.

And it is pretty easy to let that run its course and than claim to feel manly, or strong.
Hey, you did it on your own terms right?
Wrong.

I’d been trying to set up the website for my new venture for a week.
And for some reason I couldn’t get it done.
Now the infrastructure was down, the domain arranged for and so on.
So today at a meeting I asked the group for help.
And in 60 seconds they had. Me up and running!
Literally.

Now let’s examine that for a minute.
– I got done what I needed in exactly a minute.
What I spent 5 days, an hour a day doing- my mentor showed me how to do in a minute.
He didn’t do it for me.
He showed me the small step I was missing.

And now that site is open globally via. The Internet, able to make me money 24-7.
Awake or asleep, that website will bring in business and legitimize me and my business.
So I lost 4 hours and 59 minutes by waiting to ask for help.
I could go on with persuasive arguments, and explaining the power of the mental collective when focused on one task-
But I won’t waste your time.

Look at that, and make sure you own every minute.

Live Brolic!

20 to 30 Years to be Rich- I don’t think so. (And you Shouldn’t either)

20 to 30 Years to be Rich- I don’t think so.
(And you Shouldn’t either)

I was watching Coming to America earlier and one guy tells the other to work hard and in 20 or 30 years he Might have what the other guys.
Sorry folks I literally cringed. I was raised to have a great work ethic. I had my first job at 11 and loved it. My parents always worked to put us in better schools and in a home and out of the projects. This is no sob story, understand they lived the American dream for their kids. They made sure we had a leg up. And that was awesome.

Times have changed though.
I hate the idea of waiting 30 years. Hell 20 years is too long. The debate last night only proved this to me. Hang in there folks I’ll make sense of all this.

The concept of school, college, advanced degree, marriages, kids and then the excellent life is a farce. I wholeheartedly believe we were made to achieve and achieve rapidly. School is being sold as the key but a trillion dollars of debt may be suggesting otherwise. I went to college. And my job, my moxy, my business cunning and connections are not related or interconnected to a bachelors degree or advanced degree. Now these things work, I’m not knocking them. I’m merely saying there is more than one way to skin a cat (sorry Peta).

As for the debate the point I’m making is that money is to be made. Romney made loot. Obama cashed in heavy on the book deals and after he leaves the White House I guarantee his speaking engagements will be many and prosperous. See where I’m going. Both men made it to the top. They are both in the 1%. Different avenues but opportunities were made.
This is my intention as well. I will make my fortune. I’m laying my foundation now. I just want it faster. Do not misconstrue me as saying I’m better than these gentlemen, I’m simply saying I can’t wait much longer. I tried the traditional path and learned it won’t work for me. Not all horses are suitable for riding. Some are free spirits.
And while bound by the laws of economics, I know the markets are fickle and that there are always new opportunities. And I will find them.

Never let yourself be told how to get to the top.
Never let others deflate your dreams.
Never say I can’t.
Never be less than you are.
Make every action a moment of gain or of executable excellence.
Every step you take should be guided by a finite goal. If you want to be a teacher- follow the path.
You dream of owning a pawnshop-do it! Intern if you have too (Shout to the recent Heavy Hitters magazine!).
20 years is along time. 30 is worse. Make moves fast, thought out, but fast. When this is your modus operandi you will eat sleep and breathe success. And you will get there sooner. And isn’t that cool? More time to live and less time to work/slave.
Meet me at the finish line.

Education or Embellishment- What are you offering clients, customers, and cousins?

13 Aug

Education or Embellishment-
What are you offering clients, customers, and cousins?

Life is short. Making time a valuable commodity. The question is who’s time are you wasting when you don’t educate your followers, fans, friends, colleagues, and new recruits? The answer might surprise you.

A lot of people who are in network marketing or any sales and or
team-orientated business are focused on two things:
*sales
*recruits.
And hey those are good goals. Core goals in fact. However its the chase, and the implementation of the chase that will make or break you as a business person.

So the first guy, he’s all about sales. Commission king is on his license plate. He closes’em twenty four seven. He can sell anyone. And his close rate is high! I mean sixty percent (60%). That is high in our industry folks. Most people close three to five percent, yup- 3-5%. Those are good numbers like in baseball where three hits is a win. keep that in mind. So back to super closer. Yes he’s am Animal. Problem is he his retention rate, well it Sucks. Sorry for the latrine lip but he’s a fool. A failure. And here’s why.
*When you can’t keep your Team. You NEVER Had Your team.
See the problem? When your focus is on closing it isn’t on keeping. And a lot of guys close hard by promising the sky knowing statistics say otherwise. Now I’m not suggesting you say,
‘hey buddy-you will fail but sign up anyway.’ No. You say ‘This is a long ride but worth the trip. Wanna be better, wanna make money, wanna change lives?- Well let’s work bro!”. That is real. That is honest. And it is not negative. It is not false, phony or pretentious either. See how good it is. Why lie. Why sell hype. You see America, better yet the globe is poised for a serious reckoning. We have kicked the can down the road for decades. And when you duck bills you lose right? Example- ever pay just the minimum on a credit card? See how long it takes? And how much they juice you? EXACTLY. So why be that. Get them in with honesty. Friendship. Teaching. Partnership. Let them know that you will teach. Let them know the truth. Let them be happy with their choices. And they will come back. They will stay. They will make goals. Isn’t that the dream.

And as for captain recruit- well he’s more of the same. He says anything and anything to get the dotted line signed. He will tell you lies cleverly phrased to seal the deal. His embellishments are delightful to hear but are lies on the ear.
See when you focus on getting your team to grow you have the same problem as captain commission.
YOU HAVE HIGH ATTRITION RATES.
Aka they sign, they join, they LEAVE.
IN DROVES.
This is failure, this is foolhardy. It is not winning. You may get a quick infusion of cash but you are not a leader.
You are not a winner.
You have failed without even seeing it.
As leaders and team builders we have to foster growth. You don’t buy a plant or plant a vegetable garden and not water it right?
Follow up. Finish the game. Anyone see the Olympics? That one runner who tore his achilles and kept running- that’s a leader.
That’s a BOSS.
That is what business means. You move.
You keep momentum.
You keep going and you make sure your team has a shot regardless of personal cost. And you know what? That guy WON the Olympics. He gave when he had nothing to give. That is leadership. Now if can harness even a taste of that you will win for LIFE.
The question is what are you aiming for?
Give more now and reap that sowing later my friends.
(Figure out who’s time is wasted here?)

The zero budget (start up)

8 Jul

The zero budget (start up)

How you say?
The million dollar question. And its never easy. Yet it is doable. We can all attain anything we want if our minds accept that nothing is beyond our reach. I’ll layout some steps here and I welcome you to add to them and educate me. We all win in group discussion.

-Blog
Blogging has taken the world by storm.
It is perhaps the new version of the net. The net proliferated education and skills beyond anyone’s imagination. And some people want you to not get there either. Well too bad for them. Youtube changed an era. And I advice you use it. It ranks 3rd behind only google and facebook on Alexa. So do that people. However today we will discuss blogging. Blogging put customized web and sites in the palm of your hand. You can be anything. Do anything. And it is easy!
Step one- start a blog. It doesn’t have to be the best. Momentum is built by action.
Some concepts now:

*Blog(s) generate results. In most cases though it is passive. Meaning six to nine months for ROI. Yup 6-9 months for a Return On your Investment. So start now! This simple, FREE option can build a world of opportunity for you.
*Blog for cash.
You can literally blog for cash. By providing quality content for others you can garner a paycheck and make yourself look pretty darn good. On average you will do two to three bucks a 500 word article. But if you grind out its there- money for the taking.
This will also build your online reputation aka your rep which means people will know you from a distance. People will see you as quality before your pitch. And there in lies the win. on their dime. Not to say you should abuse the concept- but if you simply make it work everyone wins.

-Barter for more back-linking.
So you are blogging away. And you’re pretty darn successful. So make sure you get the rights to extreme back-linking. Now there is not a big difference in back-linking when you are beginning. Just get it done. Make sure you are getting every possible option for back-linking you can. You back-link for me you force my hand. And the same for every other person you do business with. Money and business require we get everything we are entitled too. So do it folks.

-Get the deadlines done that pay.
Simple. Elegant. To the point. If your venture requires X amount of recruits to lower your cost- why aren’t you doubling that number?
My venture has a Refer Three get Yours Free option. And it is my main goal. Not just to make money but save it. That’s good business. Need in? Make a choice people.
In every option there are points that will dictate your costs and success options. If you don’t commit and make it to level three-
How do you get to level four? Pardon the cheesy video game analogy but I feel my core audience agrees.

-Tax write offs.
Yup. They mean you make money on simply doing the right things. The USA, the IRS both reward small business owners. Why would you NOT accept their grace and good wishes. There are a plethora of tax breaks, deals, and write offs you can use. I’m not an expert so speak to one people. Therein lies the knowledge you need. But I can tell you for a fact that you will save thousands which will make thousands. So that’s a win-win. And at the least you will build a future like I am by writing off dollars for dollars.
(Ask me how)

-Thrive don’t survive.
Always spend less than you make.
This one step enables you to invest in a business.
And this step supersedes indirectly the tax step. It works. When you are smart in this method the dollars you spend are then recouped at tax time.
When you aim to thrive and not survive you are ahead of the curve. We must spend in the right direction. At times college is NOT the answer.
What is the answer is aiming for more. Keeping receipts.
Spending dollars that duplicate.
And if your job pays eight hundred, than you learn to live off of seven hundred.

So true:

13 May

‘a wise man (well, maybe “wise” is the wrong word, hewas actually a villain in a Star Trek movie) said… ”Time is the fire in which we burn” And it’s absolutely true.’
