Entrepreneurialmindset 101: What you watch occupies Your MIND

If you’re going to watch 12 hours of TV a week or more at least watch Shark Tank or the profit excetera excetera. Better to see someone doing business then to see someone shucking and jiving.

And yes I specialize in crappy videos 😉

Common Sense

As a kid I loathed when my dad would say “it’s common sense,” but damned if he wasn’t right.

Free Ebooks are better than an MBA

Free Ebooks are better than an MBA.

Yes, you read that correctly.

My wife was in the hospital this whole week. And being the dedicates partner she deserves- so was I. I’m not tooting my own horn, by no means. I am blessed to havea dedicated partner so I in turn am fully dedicated to her.

The below image shows some of the business ebooks I downloaded for free while she slept. I am a voracious reader, devouring books like so many penny candies (I was born in 1980 when this was a thing, don’t judge me). So I’m always on the lookout for free, quality reading material.

How much has to be made every minute to reach 1 million dollars in a year

12 Sep

They say dreams without deadlines aren’t goals, AKA we won’t get them done.

Here we have a very specific dollar and time amount needed to get where we need to be if our goal is to make a million dollars in a year’s time frame.

Check this out too:

The below acronym should help with getting your mindset right as well.

Companies, get off your soapbox, shopping is not Politics!

4 Sep

Quick message to Levi’s, Marcus Lemonis, Dick’s Sporting Goods and the assorted banks et al:

Get off your soapbox!!! All I really want is to buy the goods I trust based on quality ease of access and price point. You’re consistent forays into politics to try and lure me into your agendas are highly annoying.

And so far- it’s also starting to seem like bad business. Now this isn’t a right left, 2nd Amendment or other issue.

The problem we have here is that the consumers did not ask for your opinion. You are simply throwing your hat into the ring when no one asked be part of the fight.

How about you save the add money and give the consumers lower prices so we can afford your goods and have money to put our kids in the after-school Sports without being broke after buying the equipment?

How about we just keep all the registers open at Walmart instead of having 30 of them and only opening 2 of them? How about someone bag my groceries instead of trying to get me to do the job that used to be factored into the cost of the items?

Now I’m not going to preach from the pulpit myself. What I want are for people to be able to make unbiased opinions for themselves. Don’t influence my news or my purchases.

Let me spend the dollars I actually earn how I actually want to.

It almost sounds scary that this article is being written.

It’s sad enough that my Nikes are crap quality wise, and cost almost triple what they did in the 90s. And now we’re going to add politics to the purchase?

In my world that’s adding insult to injury.

The waitress/er at Outback doesn’t tell me his/her opinion on the steak. He or she serves it and does excellent service and there’s a 25% tip. Period.

Your job is a scam.
Your boss is a tyrant.
Your 401k is a joke.

Do you even have legit healthcare?

That doesn’t rob you via co-pays and or fine you if you can’t afford it.
Yeah, that sounds like your $140,000 liberal arts degree in medieval poetry is really paying off… Yeah on labor day im being a d*ck.

But it’s time to wake yall up. 30 years at a crap job to retire old tired and broke with a decade or two free is the scam.
Amway, primerica, mlm, are not.
Building a credit business, flipping homes, et all rock.

It is hard work but every dream is.
LIVE THE DREAM.

Fastest way to Save $3000.00 a year: Brown Bag your Lunch

3 Sep

I have an amazing tip to save the average Joe $3,000.00 a year: Bring your lunch to work.

Everyday.

Period.

If you do the math you spend an average of $5 a day time 5 days a week, which is $25 a week at 4 weeks minimum.

I know the average Joe actually thinks that because they work for a living they deserve a better lunch maybe a better breakfast and even a better dinner depending on your shift. So it becomes more like $20 a day. Which is $100 a week. Times 52 weeks. That is $5200.00 a year.

The average between the 2 is roughly 3 grand usd.

In 5 years you have $15,000.00 dollars. Now that is a house down payment, aka a rental property…

You see where I’m going?

Are you willing to eatess from those who live outside your home?
