Admission of the week: I am not as financially prepared as I need to be

16 Feb

Admission of the week:

I am not as financially prepared as I need to be.

So no long story or fancy financial news or social media hacks today.

Today what I have for you is a stark admission- I am not financially prepared to a level I need to be or should be given the amount of financial intelligence I possess.

I know how to make money. I know how to save money. I know how to be resourceful. The problem is I haven’t put all these skills together. Now as my own lawyer I will say I left my home state and job career excetera to relocate with my family when it was only three people deep and now there’s four people deep cuz my next son is coming in 2 months. Now I can say that that was the reason I could not get ahead. But I’ll be honest and say that the impetus of having a family should have moved me before I had a family. I know that’s a lot to swallow it’s a simple fact and a basic truth. I did not commit when I should have. I was having making some money having some Investments and getting some stocks.

And yes I own some Tesla and some Sprint and some muscle farm and some other companies. But it is not enough. My family deserves so much more. And you know what, in all honesty my peace of mind deserves more. When we say we do it for our family or friends are Legacy excetera that’s all great oh, but you should be doing it for yourself. I should be dominating the world because I want to. And I want to. I just kind of quit when things got comfortable. The lesson tonight is simply don’t get comfortable build build build, sleep when you’re dead.

Herbalife Under investigation- MLM scam or Prime Stock

13 Mar

I’m sure many of you have seen that the FTC is investigating Herbalife.
Now many people are going to scream Dirty MLM!
These pyramid people are always abusing their recruits!

Let’s take a step back and look clearly at facts.

-First no one has been found guilty.
-An investigation of this nature takes between 12 to 18 months.
-There is no smoking gun here either folks.

Now even if Herbalife has been guilty of wrong doing, does it mean all MLMs are inherently evil and or flawed?

Absolutely Not.

How can I be so sure you ask?
It’s actually quite simple.
The business model referred to as an “MLM” is quite a prosperous and fair one when applied correctly.
Catch that?

And by applied I mean both by the MLM and those who join.
You see no business is easy.
Derek Jeter worked to get where he was. Michael Jordan was a lousy ball player initially.
Get it?
Everything worth doing requires work- Hard Work.
When you join an MLM you have to put in the work.
The mindset in an MLM has to be “I Will Do for 6 to 12 months what no one else will do to Live forever as No one Will.”

And I would wager that every leader knows this.

Now to succeed in business you have to be willing.
Open a store?
Who will put in the hours etc?
Join a MLM that revolves around tea, yeah YOU have to put in the hours.

Folks, regardless of what happens only you will build your empire.
Doctors put in the years.
Jordan did too.
So before you go blaming the MLM concept do your homework.

Even Robert Kiyosaki says that MLMs are great.
The learning programs, the tutelage, the leadership, the training- they are comprehensive and available.

To me this sounds great.
And to be honest I’ve always loved the MLM business model.
I’ve used it time and again.
I won’t hide motives or pretend to be unbiased.
What I will do is let you know that news always has a slant.
And that people always have agendas and needs.

All you and I can do is make informed decisions and chase our dreams.

Why you NEED a Blog and HOW to Blog

9 Aug

Why you NEED a Blog and HOW to Blog.

So I’ve heard the same question I asked before in many different ways-
Why blog?
Do I need a blog?
How do I blog
Why would people read my blog?

There are billions of people on this planet and many of them are looking for the same. answers you are. And many people are looking for guidance to get there. Now you don’t have to be at the top, but you do need to know the basics. And as such, let’s explore them.

*Step 1:
Never blog about what you don’t know or can’t sell.
If u hate math, blog about anything else. If you aren’t intimately involved with a subject then you are wasting your time and your readers time. Know your subject matter. You don’t need a degree, but you need to be able to create cohesive content that isn’t convoluted but easily comprehended.
I will say that you could just rant and rant and be a pedantic ass as well or instead of. However it does nothing to help you sell YOU. Or your brand. Or your product. Or your mission. What it will do conceivably is draw attention in droves or sink you faster than the Hindenburg. You see the guy with a lot of opinions, and no facts or smarts- isn’t helping anyone. He just wants to be heard.
A good blogger isn’t always seen but his stats increase, his targeted market improves, and the fans, friends, and followers come back for more. So you can be Howard Stern, but I’d rather share insight and grow intensely. What do you want?

*Step2: Keep It Simple Stupid.
Yup, KISS works. Don’t be insulted just appreciate the simplicity. Your readers will too. Less is more when you are educating consumers and or edifying partners. Both groups want and need a simple system to emulate. They both want success. So layout a plan that isn’t convoluted or too brainy. I’ve known quite a few marketers who forget that what they have mastered- is a foreign language to their recruits. Start from the beginning. Stephen Hawkins is brilliant. An unparalleled genius. Yet his true strength lies in his ability to take complicated topics such as astrophysics, chaos math and other sciences and break them down for the common man. His books can teach you things college can’t. Because his methods and word choice is cohesive in such a fashion that a twelve year old can grasp it.
This is the goal. I don’t care if you’re Good Will Hunting or MIT’s finest. If you can’t reach the people you have failed.

*Step3: Repeat this process.
Every article, every blog, every time. Let it be simple. Let it be fun. Do your best and recreate great material. The process is is what you put into it.

*Step4: Enjoy yourself.
You should relish every step. Every blog post. Have fun. Its all yours.

*Bonus concept:
Solve problems.
When you can see what people need and supply the way or show them the path to achieving you will have the team of your dreams.

Financial Times | October 12, 2011 | 04:50 PM EDT

China has for the first time revealed the estimated size of its copper inventories, shedding light on one of the commodity market’s biggest mysteries.

Chinese copper inventories stood at 1.9 million tons at the end of 2010, more than the US consumes in a year, according to estimates by the state-backed China Non-Ferrous Metals Industry Association. The estimate is significantly higher than the 1.0-1.5 million tons range that foreign executives have assumed in the past.
