11 Really Cool iPhone Keypad Codes

Your iPhone can browse the net, play myriad games, play YouTube videos and more but there are also some nifty tricks you can use to find out some great information about your phone and run it more smoothly.

In essence, there are a bunch of iPhone keypad codes that you can type in and get back specific information about/from your mobile carrier, phone and billing details.

When you want to use any one of these codes, open your iPhone’s “phone app” and make sure that the keypad button is selected in the bottom menu. Next, type in any code from the list below and press call.

iPhone Codes: Network & Phone Information

*3001#12345#*– Opens up the “Field Test” settings on your iPhone, which allows you to see many, many advanced network settings on your phone including cell site information and more.

*#06# – Displays your iPhone’s International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number (this code also works on many other phones).

*#21# – Displays any call forwarding settings enabled on your iPhone.

*#43# – Shows you if call waiting for various parts of your phone are either enabled or disabled.

*#30# – Shows you if you have the call presentation (to see who is calling you) setting enabled or disabled.

*#33# – Displays call barring settings for your iPhone, and weather they are enabled or disabled.

iPhone Codes: Carrier & Billing Information

*646# -View available minutes on your AT&T plan (*min#).

*777#- View available minutes on your AT&T pre-paid plan (if you get the “Account Not Found” error, you do not have a pre-paid account and you should try the code just above this one for postpaid accounts).

*3282# – View wireless data usage statistics (also *data#).

*225# – Check the bill balance on your AT&T account (also *bll#).

*729 – Makes a call to AT&T to pay your wireless bill.

Change Your Blackberry Battery Icon to Numerical Value

23 Dec

Change Battery Icon to Numerical Value
You can change the signal graph to numerical value:
quote:

-Rather than looking at signal bars, you can change the coverage indicator to show ‘signal strength’ in digital (dBm) format. While at the home (icon) screen, hold down the ALT key while you type NMLL. The bars change to digital mode. A lower number is better, and anything between -90 to -50 dBm is good.

-To get the signal bars back, repeat the process: hold down the ALT key while you type NMLL.

HOW TO GET FREE SILVER

HOW-TO-GET-FREE-SILVER

Now this rocks!  A quick post with an included link to get free silver.

I personally invest in silver and always wanted tangible wealth.  As a kid I collected coins- nothing valuable just a notion.  When I moved out and got married I realized I wanted a safe haven for my income.  Robert Kiyosaki spoke on wealth and the lost value of a dollar and it resonated with me.

Since the 60’s folks the dollars’ purchasing power has been decimated.  I wont point fingers or place blame.  I just want to be wealthy and comfortable as I’m sure you my readers do too.   And while the dollar plummets silver is on the rise.

So how do you get your free silver?

Easy.You can enter here.

Name. Email. That’s it.  It has a spot for your phone number but it’s not mandatory.  The winner does get called though.

-Do you have to buy anything? NO.

-Any costs? – nope.
The most you may be asked is for a testimonial.

If you like the page and feel it is a high converter, and decide you want one- lets talk. Email me @ tony@changeinadvance.com

Where do you enter again?  You can enter here.

5 Little-Known iPhone and iPad Apps for Startups

5 Little-Known iPhone and iPad Apps for Startups

Being a small business owner can be trying.  Times are tight, the economy is dreary, and you have to make every dollar stretch.  To add to the general mayhem you have all the day to day tasks of accounting, management, sales tracking and administrative needs on your shoulders.  Find this daunting?  Well I’ve got 5 iOS apps to make you more efficient.

Invoice2Go: This app lets you create invoices and estimates on your iPad and even your iPhone. You can make one complete list of all billable items and store them cohesively. Perhaps you might prefer the Receipts2go plugin to bill for items that are specific only to certain jobs or accounts. To top it all off your completed invoices can be printed right from the app or emailed if you are so inclined.

You can get three free invoices and after that its about 25.00 bucks a year for a 100 invoices.  By the way, you can even see your financials at a glance with this app.

Docusign Ink: No more printing and scanning with this app. Sign all sorts of documents electronically and save time you can use your phone or devices camera to take a picture of relevant documents or upload from a cloud drive- cool right?  Docusign Ink even converts documents easily so you drag and drop your signature. Simply save and send to complete the process.

Client forgot to sign? No problem, simply have them sign vial email. The catch is simple: unlimited documents can be signed for free.  However there is a limit of five additional signatories. After that they will ask you to purchase a plan starting at 15.00 bucks a month.

FYI- Doucsign Ink is also available on Android.

Bento 4 for iPad: A recently redesigned personal database app that helps you present and organize data. What makes Bento 4 stand out from the crowd is that it allows you to combine tables and text fields with images by simply drag and dropping utilizing one of the 40 free templates.  Highly useful in multistep projects or sales meetings, Bento is quite versatile. With a price tag of 9.99 your wallet doesn’t get beat up either.

Concur: An organizational tool/app for frequent travelers. Manage your itinerary, book hotel rooms, check airline reservations. Concur is also great for tracking your expenses on the go.  Input information by hand, or use e-receipts. You can also scan receipts. Trips over? Concur will combine all the info into one cohesive expense report.  While the app is free on iPad and iPhone you will need to link it to a desktop Concur account.  This however is 8.00 bucks per person, per month.  A little more than some want to spend but a great report, and it’s a tax deduction I’d bet (See your CPA for that info though).  Concur is also available on Android for my so inclined cohorts.

Delivery Status Touch: Move a lot of merchandise? Delivery Status Touch can help keep track of them. 4.99, gets you an app that works directly with all of the major delivery companies/services and automatically gets information from Amazon, Apple and Google Checkout. As soon as a package is added it will appear on the the home screen. After that point you can track the progress of each and every package you have; coming or going.

Five Must-Know Verizon Shortcuts

The answers to people’s most common questions are available right on your phone.

Want info about your account right now, but you can’t able log in to My Verizon- try using one of the #Features listed below. They’re air time free, and you’ll even get a free text message with the information. Just dial # and the number, then hit SEND.

#MIN (#646)—Check your current month’s un-billed airtime usage. You’ll get an estimate of minutes used since your last statement date to within the past 24 hours. If you’re on a Family Share Plan, stay on the line to hear your Family Share Plan minutes after your individual minutes.

#BAL (#225)—Check your account balance and when your last payment was received.

#DATA (#3282)—Wondering how much text, picture and video messaging you’ve done? Check in for an estimate of your usage.

#PMT (#768)—Need to make a payment? You can, right from your phone.

#UPG (#874)—Longing for a new phone but not sure if you’re due for an upgrade? Call to see whether you’re eligible.

These simple options will keep you on track and within your budget.

FEMA App

2 Nov

In light of all that’s happened I’d say download this app- the FEMA App.
It has advice, checklists and so forth.

I say hey, download it. Look at it. And if you delete it its in the back of your mind from now on. On blackberry it will be kept listed in an un-installed list in my appworld which will ease re-installment should I delete.

There is no loss to learning folks.
I learned the hard way though not as hard as others. Plan for the future.
Have a plan for you, and your pets too.

Take pictures of all valuable and pertinent documents and email them to at least two of your emails.
Put them on a flash drive too.

Water- have one gallon per day per person for drinking and sanitary use. Here again don’t forget the pets. For cats, get an aluminum tray from the dollar store- maybe 2 and a lot of newspaper you can shred. Its lightweight if you have to take it with you and easily packable. Its also dirt cheap.
Have at least 3 days of non perishable food on hand. Those cans you don’t want will save your life.

This may be a day late and a dollar short but this is just a sample of FEMA info and that gathered from http://www.changeinadvance.com.

Also you can call fema @ 18006213362.
Or go to Disasterassistance.gov and start
And I believe there may be funding for loss of food and to procure food as well. If I’m wrong, sorry folks. But it is feasible as FEMA is so far reaching in scope.

GAS
Hessexpress.com/fuel information will show you where their gas is. But remember some places have no electricity to pump gas.
The list is updated daily or better.
