Pick Your Poison: Passion or Stress

16 Oct

From @mookmillionsceo –

“If you find yourself working at a job you don’t love, in a relationship with someone you don’t love, or hanging with people that don’t love you, make a change. Stress kills. Passion is the compass that makes life more enjoyable. I refuse to waste time and energy on futile situations. If the love isn’t there, neither am I.”

You are the example in your world. You have the gut, ideas, passion, and the ability to move mountains if you put your mind to it. Don’t give up, ever. Find ways to pivot, shift your energy and develop your leadership style more, SLOW DOWN to speed up, but never quit on what is important to you.

Lowell Senior Panhandling To Help Pay Way To Medical School

21 Apr

Surely this isn’t how you want. Your kids or yourself to pay for the things that are wanted or needed.

I’m not knocking this lady- what I am knocking is the mindset that has come about in America.
It is high time we all decide to take control of our collective destiny.

Wouldn’t you prefer to have total control of the purse strings in your life?

Wouldn’t financial freedom as opposed to financial aid feel great?

Need a plan?
A solution?
Both?

Let’s chat.

Costco will Not save You money

19 Mar

Now I’m all for being Frugal, no question about it.
However a lot of people are trading their most valuable resource for a few pennies.
So you wait in line 20 minutes to save 7 cents a gallon on 9 gallons to fill your Honda.
Good job. You are a smart consumer.

Wrong mind set- and here’s is why:
63 cents is nothing compared to the almost half hour you lost.

Was that time income producing?
Nope.
Could you recruit someone into your primary business in that time?
Yup.
I’ve seen a good marketer close in 5 minutes.
Even if all you get is a lead/phone number- the practice alone is worth more than 63 cents, especially to a newbie.

Should you be saving money?
All the time.

Should you be losing time?
Never.
Now if you are practically broke, maybe this works for you.
But if you are that broke than it just might be time to repurpose a lot of your time and build a business that takes your financial situation out of the hands of others.

Remember there is no sense in being stupid and cent savvy.

Questions?
Concerns?

Ask for Help- it can make You Powerful

13 Feb

A lot of times, pride dictates louder than reason.

And it is pretty easy to let that run its course and than claim to feel manly, or strong.
Hey, you did it on your own terms right?
Wrong.

I’d been trying to set up the website for my new venture for a week.
And for some reason I couldn’t get it done.
Now the infrastructure was down, the domain arranged for and so on.
So today at a meeting I asked the group for help.
And in 60 seconds they had. Me up and running!
Literally.

Now let’s examine that for a minute.
– I got done what I needed in exactly a minute.
What I spent 5 days, an hour a day doing- my mentor showed me how to do in a minute.
He didn’t do it for me.
He showed me the small step I was missing.

And now that site is open globally via. The Internet, able to make me money 24-7.
Awake or asleep, that website will bring in business and legitimize me and my business.
So I lost 4 hours and 59 minutes by waiting to ask for help.
I could go on with persuasive arguments, and explaining the power of the mental collective when focused on one task-
But I won’t waste your time.

Look at that, and make sure you own every minute.
