The WILL to Win

26 Oct

”The will to win is more vital to success than your intelligence. There are plenty of intelligent people who lack the courage and leadership to maximize their potential. No one has ever succeeded without confidence just because they can pass a test.

Khaki challenge, the Hidden Law of Attraction

24 Oct

So the law of attraction is a big deal these days. It is the secret, they would have you believe, to immense success. If you master the law of attraction you will easily bring forth a river of wealth riches and success.

If you don’t know the law of attraction Google it. My perception of the law of attraction is that you get what you attract.

Now the hidden secret I am exposing now is called the khaki challenge.  Simply put I am going to only wear khakis for the next 30 days.

Why you ask?

Because in my former career I was a jeams and tee guy.  It was acceptable and tactical given my position. But not anymore. As I seek out a new career and life changing year I am changing not only my resume and address, but my weight and how I dress.

This, coupled with a new daily routine and extensive reading will manifest the success and financial level I want.

To sum this up I am changing everything I can think of to change into the dominant successful leader I want to be.

So join me on my khaki challenge and wear only khaki pants or better everywhere (except the gym, that would be weird).

Don’t eat that Frog, Murder it!

17 Oct

I know the eat that frog Philosophy is quite popular and effective,  but this is a way I dig.

By conquering the small tasks first you gain momentum. A lot of people get scared by their to do lists and that fear leads to paralysis. If you are a scared rabbit running from your tasks you will fail at any and every endeavor.

Make a list.

Sort said list so that the easiest tasks are at the top.

Leave  a space between task groups.

This will be more of a simulated break that will give you a mental breather.

Next, bang out the 3 easiest task on your list.

Oh and folks, don’t make the list more than 9-11 items long.

Call them action agenda items, or whatever you want,  just keep the list short.

Think of it like the benchpress,  the bar is going to come down, you just have to push past the middle.

I’ve been harping on this,
My bad.

But my goals and dreams have gotten bigger in the last 4 months. About 40% on top of the last 40% in 2 month increments.

The point

I have reached a point where the basic 9 – 5 is almost a waste of my time. I want so much more out of my life. I have Big wants and big needs coupled with a desire to succeed beyond the wildest dreams of the most successful entrepreneur on the planet.

And I’ve had to stretch… A LOT.

I’m quite uncomfortable these days, but I actually sleep better.

Why? How?

I’m working a path I want and believe in!
Are you with me?

Success is a Daily process, you might call it Progress

4 Oct

“People seem to forget that taking it “day by day” isn’t a problematic way to live. Taking it day by day becomes problematic when you periodically go days without action. You don’t have to make a million dollars overnight, and quite frankly 99% of people NEVER will. Allow yourself to enjoy the process – it’s all about creating a sustainable outcome. I don’t care how long it takes you to get there, because honestly most people make an immediate return once they do. As the parable of the tortoise and the hare reveals – slow and steady wins the race. Seriously, don’t overwhelm yourself with problems that don’t even exist. Relax and enjoy your journey”

Take the Leap of Faith

31 Aug

This is fantastically factual.

I’ve taken 3 HUGE leaps of Faith in the last month.

And damn have I been blessed!!!!!!!
When you step out on faith everything will change,  but it will change based on how you embrace it.

In fear or in true faith.

We were meant to live lives of greatness not wage slavery.

Step out on faith and I’ll see you on the other side.

Don’t celebrate Before the Victory

24 Apr

There is a big difference between confidence and undeserved celebration.

Declare your victory- believe and know you will conquer.
Then go out there and Dominate.
But do not brag, or boast before the win.
Confidence will take you far, but arrogance will do nothing for you.

Hope this brief post helps.

Lowell Senior Panhandling To Help Pay Way To Medical School

21 Apr

Surely this isn’t how you want. Your kids or yourself to pay for the things that are wanted or needed.

I’m not knocking this lady- what I am knocking is the mindset that has come about in America.
It is high time we all decide to take control of our collective destiny.

Wouldn’t you prefer to have total control of the purse strings in your life?

Wouldn’t financial freedom as opposed to financial aid feel great?

Need a plan?
A solution?
Both?

Let’s chat.

A Lowell teenager is hoping to help raise money for medical school in an unexpected way – panhandling.

Consistency is Everything

24 Nov

He who can be consistent will go the farthest.

Okay enough of my fortune cookie flow.
Seriously though folks, it’s the person who sticks to their gym schedule, eats right every day, sleeps right, who gets the killer physique.

It’s the investor who studies the markets and tracks the mac d indicators and does their due diligence on options and puts etc- who makes a killing.
Regardless of your venture, if you are consistent you will reach the finish line.
Talent is nothing without consistency.
Look at the pitchers in the MLB.
They have to throw consistently, not just fast, but consistent.

What can you do to increase your consistency?
