Costco will Not save You money

19 Mar

Now I’m all for being Frugal, no question about it.
However a lot of people are trading their most valuable resource for a few pennies.
So you wait in line 20 minutes to save 7 cents a gallon on 9 gallons to fill your Honda.
Good job. You are a smart consumer.

Wrong mind set- and here’s is why:
63 cents is nothing compared to the almost half hour you lost.

Was that time income producing?
Nope.
Could you recruit someone into your primary business in that time?
Yup.
I’ve seen a good marketer close in 5 minutes.
Even if all you get is a lead/phone number- the practice alone is worth more than 63 cents, especially to a newbie.

Should you be saving money?
All the time.

Should you be losing time?
Never.
Now if you are practically broke, maybe this works for you.
But if you are that broke than it just might be time to repurpose a lot of your time and build a business that takes your financial situation out of the hands of others.

Remember there is no sense in being stupid and cent savvy.

Don’t take advice from your plumber

28 Feb

Man! This is so real.
Friends, family, anyone really will try to advise you. Listen to that little voice inside.
Cultivate it until it screams the loudest.
Never take advice from someone who hasn’t done what you are embarking on. The painter doesn’t ask the plumber for help…

Ask for Help- it can make You Powerful

13 Feb

A lot of times, pride dictates louder than reason.

And it is pretty easy to let that run its course and than claim to feel manly, or strong.
Hey, you did it on your own terms right?
Wrong.

I’d been trying to set up the website for my new venture for a week.
And for some reason I couldn’t get it done.
Now the infrastructure was down, the domain arranged for and so on.
So today at a meeting I asked the group for help.
And in 60 seconds they had. Me up and running!
Literally.

Now let’s examine that for a minute.
– I got done what I needed in exactly a minute.
What I spent 5 days, an hour a day doing- my mentor showed me how to do in a minute.
He didn’t do it for me.
He showed me the small step I was missing.

And now that site is open globally via. The Internet, able to make me money 24-7.
Awake or asleep, that website will bring in business and legitimize me and my business.
So I lost 4 hours and 59 minutes by waiting to ask for help.
I could go on with persuasive arguments, and explaining the power of the mental collective when focused on one task-
But I won’t waste your time.

Look at that, and make sure you own every minute.

Entrepreneur Mook Millions on Integrity

11 Feb

“You can’t win without integrity. On the surface a situation may appear to be a win, but inside you know the truth. Do not take the easy way out, especially if it opposes what’s right. Make the tough decisions to face your inner demons with the intention of getting better. Do not coddle yourself and surround yourself with people that make you better.”

No Article tonight, just Read Mark Cuban’s article

9 Feb

Not pushing his agenda in any way shape or form.
I simply want people to hear what a self made BILLIONAIRE thinks.

Read how he writes.
See how he writes. That’s it folks.

Weekend Reading

7 Feb

I won’t be watching the Super Bowl.
But I will be reading all weekend and hitting the gym to increase my value and get ahead.
Sorry folks, no insults to anyone- I just don’t watch sports.

If you do, enjoy.
Just remember to make sure the TV isn’t holding your dream hostage.

No More Excuses

29 Jan

Literally, stop talking yourself out of success.

That’s it.
No punchline.
No drama.
There is a world out there that needs you to expand your horizons and create unparalleled success.

Your dreams are only the beginning.
You’re broke? That’s motivation not an excuse.
No one believes in you?
That’s fire for the stove!

Would a pile of money help you enrich the lives of others?
Would personal success satisfy you?

Then NO More Excuses!
The only one stopping you is you.

This is a call to action-
And as such I challenge You to give me a real reason(s) you can’t dominate in any field you want.

Failure is a choice.

Limits are for fools

24 Jan

“If you always put limit on everything you do, physical or anything else. It will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them.”

Get it done

19 Jan

So the powerball was almost 2 billion dollars last week.

And I saw people pooling money, flying into New York city from all over the country, and buying more tickets outside of their group purchase.

All in hopes of achieving some grand dream of having wealth.

And guess what?
None of em won a red cent.
Yup. That’s right.

And what came next you ask?
They itched and moaned about how no one from New York ever wins.
How it ain’t right.
How they would work and not be greedy if they had won…
What a load of malarkey.

Now instead of this wasted cash, time and energy – why didn’t any of these people say “F that noise! I’m going to build my own dream!”

If all energy is focused on a realistic goal, even if it is baby steps to start, then the lottery and who won it becomes irrelevant.

Lesson here: don’t waste your time on pipe dreams when there are opportunities right in front of you if you simply train the brain to see them.
More on that later this month.

Monday Motivation

18 Jan

A little Monday Motivation.
Call it BHAG, aka
Big
Hairy
Audacious
Goals

If it isn’t too big for where you’re at now it isn’t a goal.
Exceeding your own expectations should be your new normal.

My immediate goals and year long ones are ones I wasn’t sure I could accomplish. However, putting them on paper and sharing with my inner circle has galvanized my inner compass.

What is motivating you?
Have you written out your goals?
Do you have a specific, step by step plan to get there?
Let me know.
Like/comment if I motivate you.
