AUTO PILOT = IGNORANCE

AUTO PILOT = IGNORANCE

Auto-pilot is synonymous with ignorance.
No ifs and or buts about it. Life requires you focus and follow through.

-You can’t be running the show if you’re not there.
Simple. Factual. A leader is out front. He’s running the show. Watch football? The quarterback has to be in the game. He has to be aware, cognizant of all issues and parameters. He’s at the huddle, he calls the audibles, and he adjusts his leadership accordingly. I’ve never seen anyone succeed who isn’t both physically and mentally present. Be where you need to be. Do what is required of you in that moment. Your actions now will dictate your future repercussions. And as such you need to be there now. If you play soccer- be in the game. Feel and control the moment. If you aren’t living in it you’ve already lost.

-When you workout the muscle responds to that. Growth is achieved.
Is your own business not the same?
In the movie The Comeback Arnold Schwarzenegger speaks on focus. He focus on achieving something in 8 weeks that most people don’t achieve in a year. See the movie. There is a treasure trove of insight as to how to be a better bodybuilder/businessman. And the parameters are the same. Focus. Consistency. Participation. Those are perhaps the 3 keys that will set you apart from all entrepreneurs.
When you focus and add consistency to the mix you will win. A leader and or a winner do the same thing- they are consistently the same. Their focus may know no bounds but it has a razor honed focal point. And as for participation- you can’t lead without doing. You can’t win without playing. Its si perfect a concept I won’t belabor it.
Suffice it to say: Get in the game.

-The one exception still has a caveat.
A lot of mlm, home marketing, and online business opportunities all promote running your business on autopilot. And it works it does. However you can’t set it up and walk away. When that works its a ponzi scheme. It has no longevity and zero worth. In my business I see a lot of people who want me to buy these ‘make $ while I sleep’ opportunities. I pay them no mind.
I build up my blog and my network. I make living connections. I foster relationships that don’t pressure people to join or buy in this is the key. A lot of people make money on autopilot. And it works. However it requires a good set up. You see even when you are not working- you had to have put the work in.
Always know nothing makes you better than you. Put in your time, lead by doing, and stay in the game.

Action Reading List

Action Reading List

Ok folks I’ve got a few books on my list that I think everyone should read. Its a short list and I’m going to skip Napoleon Hill et al because we as entrepreneurs are inundated with the likes oh him, The Secret, and many others. Not knocking them per say I just think a different avenue and a fewsh eye/perspective is more useful these days.
Let’s face it; the economies changed. The needs of the people have as well. So we as entrepreneurs and marketers need to be innovators and leaders. Not to mention educators, students, and help-mates to the masses.
And in that vein I present you my top 7 books you need to read.

The Charge.
By Brendon Burchard, this book is no nonsense and a great read. Not his first but my first read of his tomes. Recommended to me by the Great Ray Higdon (@rayhigdon).
This book will help clear your focus and activate your drives. Truly groundbreaking in my humble opinion.

Rogue Warrior.
Richard Marcinko’s autobiography of how he started Seal Team Six. This man was an innovator, achiever, and believer. He believed in his country and himself. Nothing stopped him from being the best. Great read with an easy format. A guy in the first mlm I made money with recommended it to me and he was right.

48 Laws of Power.
By Robert Greene, one of my fave reads ever. It is considered ruthless by some but the lessons are useful. Also its historical references and layout are vastly intriguing. I’d buy it twice. I won’t say more because the book speaks for itself.

33 Strategies of War.
Another classic by Robert Greene. I love this guy. Having bought all his books I can clearly tell you that this one is as much a game changer as 48 Laws of Power.

Steve Jobs.
The acclaimed biography by Walter Isaacson is a no holds barred look into the life of Jobs. Indeed it could be called a dig as Isaacson went down the rabbit hole that was Jobs. There is a treasure trove of knowledge to be had here and a great read as well. One of the books that is truly amazing my mind. It excites and inspires at the same time.

The One Minute Millionaire.
Mark Victor Hansen and Robert G. Allen, two literary geniuses in their own right with sales that astound. True innovators and creators. The team up for this book is amazing. It has a fictional and factual counterpart wrapped up in one book. Truly amazing and the one book I’ve read as many times as 48 Laws of Power. I literally learn every time I read it. I got it 30% off but after reading it know I would have paid 60% extra to own it.

Rich Dad Poor Dad.
Rober kiyosaki at his best. Some hate him. Some don’t. Overall I like the guy. While I’ve taken his courses too I think I’m going to stick with the books. This first one I have purchased three times. What I do is read it and give my copy to someone else. Its a great book for opening the eyes of the reader.

BONUS:
Heavy Hitters Magazine aka HH.
Not a book but a staple in my collection.
Indeed it is the only magazine I buy. Every two months it features insane quotes, cars, and profiles of self made entrepreneurs. People who most of us can relate to.
The most inspiration you can buy for $6 bucks. Guaranteed.

HH MAGAZINE: ISSUE 29

1 Oct

HH MAGAZINE: ISSUE 29.

GET IT OR GO HOME FOLKS-

INSPIRATION IS ALWAYS NEEDED IN MY HUMBLE OPINION.

Don’t Be a Complainer by Jim Rohn

1 Oct

This is so good I won’t even post today.
I’ve been eclipsed! And I’m glad.

Don’t Be a Complainer by Jim Rohn

Complaining. There’s room for legitimate complaining, but if you let this deadly disease of attitude – complaining – loose, it will conquer you. Complaining can take over your life, destroy you and leave you without anything. Nobody wants to take along a complainer. Nobody wants to promote a complainer. Nobody wants to live with one. Nobody wants to be a partner of one. Nobody wants to have one around. Complaining leaves you out of more opportunities than you can possibly imagine if you let it take over and grab you by the throat. If you don’t think complaining is bad ask the children of Israel of Old Testament fame. Now let me say something right here, they are typical of us all (if we had ourselves in a similar position); their story just happened to get in the Book.

The story says that the children of Israel are slaves in Egypt. God performed a series of dazzling miracles and gets them out. Now they have their freedom and are heading for the Promised Land. But… the tragedy of the story – they never got there. Reason – from day one they started to complain.

They griped about the food – they had just been delivered from slavery and they are complaining about the food?! They complained and cried and griped about the water. In the desert they HAD water to drink, but… it didn’t taste that good?! They complained about the leadership… that had just delivered them from slavery?! They complained that it was too hot, too cold, too far, too difficult, and too rocky. They cried for years – forty to be exact. Finally, God said I’ve had it – trip cancelled!

The story says that they died in the desert and never reached the Promised Land – after all that trouble! I believe this story teaches two things:

1) Indulge in complaining long enough and you will get your future cancelled – future promotions, future opportunities.

2) Even God himself can only take so much complaining.

I think you get my point. Complaining is not for the winners in life. You must focus on what you can do, not what you cannot. And you must focus on the opportunities not the difficulties. When you do this you will not only inspire yourself but you will be an example for others to follow as well.

Small Goals Lead to Big Dreams

22 Sep

Small Goals Lead to Big Dreams

In life a lot of game plans are pure horse pucket. You they are doo doo.
Get the drift?
You have to make your own plan. Your won time frame. Your own goals. And your own dreams. And a list of small goals will literally lead to Big Dreams materializing in your world.

-Small Dreams.
This is a big mistake. Always dream big. Want a car. Cool but a Fiat is nothing. Look for a Ferrari. Aim for two. There is a code of success and you may choose to ignore the code. A dream book is the key step in the code. Visualize big and you will be a BIG success. If your dreams are nothing- SO ARE YOU!!!

-Big dreams.
Big Dreams are the only things that breed success. They are the vehicle to the life you always wanted. When you want something big enough you will find a way. Nat Turner, Frederick Douglass wanted bigger than their lives offered them. Ghandi and Mandela wanted more than was set as their portion. And they all found ways. They gave and gave until their BIG. DREAM became realities. What we want we must fight for. We must see the big things. When we only see small problems and small wants we get nowhere. We may get something- but it ends up a big NOTHING. Is that what you want? Nope. Dream books help us materialize what we want to get. Where we want to go. They are a physical approach to seeing our truth. Because folks, you can say you’re all about the greater good but everyone has wants. And there is nothing wrong with wanting things. So Embrace IT!
Be who you are, ask for what you want! Get. what you deserve.

-Small Goals.
Small goals are the only method. If big dreams are the vehicle, then Small Goals are the fuel. To get everywhere I’ve gotten I use small goals. For example, these articles are done in small steps.
I get a concept. Work it out.
I get my outline worked out and redo it.
Then I write the article.
After that I edit it.
Lastly its posted and word is spread across
the internet to let people know my thoughts. You see these small goals pay off over the course of a day in simple, small units. And I love it.
Reaching my goal of a million dollars earned not by a job is the same.
I came up with a concept.
I work the concept.
I share it.
I create vast growth.
I repeat process.
I reap rewards.
In anything you do make it small goals to big dreams.
Want to bench 315 lbs on the flat bench? Start small and add 5 pounds every 3 weeks. Over the course of a year you will see massive gains.
Want to be Trump, Jobs, or Gates?
Same rule.
They started with an idea.
Then fleshed it out.
Then went steps farther to make it all real.

What do you want? What do you need? What will you dream?
Small goals are the key once you answer these questions.

Just Walk Across the Room

19 Sep

Just Walk Across the Room.

A lot of people have fears.
Fear of rejection.
Fear of success.
Fear of failure.
Fear of fear.

However the biggest issue here is that the fear is talking. And in any venture you just have to WALK ACROSS THE ROOM.
Start the dialogue and let the cards fall where they may. Let’s examine a few. examples shall we.

-Procuring funding is an arena where you can’t hide. To get an angel investment or even a Kickstarter one you have to be seen, be heard. People want to know what makes your idea better. I don’t even give to a charity I don’t believe in. I want to know how they spend, where they spend, and salary breakdowns. Its prudent to not waste your money so I don’t.

-Recruiting is a numbers game no doubt about it. It requires greater exposure, and more courage and cunning. However to gain the numbers you have to reach your desired pinnacle people have to know you.
WALK ACROSS THE ROOM. Meet them head on. To gain the value you seek you must lose the fear. Speak to strangers everyday. Speak to coworkers and classmates daily. There is a way to beat the game. Its called WORK. If you talk to ten people a day you will win. And even better the more you do this the easier it gets. And as my mentor says- who cares if they say no?

-Closing is key. And yet again it requires you get in front of the people. You can’t seal the deal on the net. Okay, maybe you can. Yet ever notice how much business is concluded on golf courses? Quite a bit. It is the sport of presidents, gentlemen and kings. And its also an equalizer. To close on a golf course brings a zen like atmosphere to many tense agreements. Now I’m not saying you should take up golf- but it wouldn’t hurt. People want to be closed, they need to be closed. And for that they need YOU. Give them what they want. Closing is a fine art and I won’t delve into it here. I will say that it requires a personal touch. Get involved, stay involved. And once they sign- give them more attention. Team building is an active sport not a passive one.

-Love requires a true touch. The lover must be known to the other. And this is a perfect example. To gain requited love you must be genuine. You must be real and authentic. The love of your life won’t be snowed. She or he won’t fall for a guise. You have to be just who you are. And this a perfect analogy for my network marketers.
People aren’t buying the product.
They aren’t buying the compensation plan.
They are buying you.
Sell them the dream that is you not the smoke cloud. Let them know you. Why? Easy. If you lie it will ruin you. A lot of Zeek people lost their down lines forever. Not purely their fault but they lost in any case. However the leader that builds for and with his team will have a team built for longevity. Show them you. Even the faults- not appearing weak per say- but the real you. They will follow. And you will lead.

Be your own ambassador.

Job, Career, Your Own Business- You Decide.

11 Sep

Job,
Career,
Your Own Business-
You Decide.

I think the concept here eludes many people and I intend to divulge the facts! Lol okay I’m having fun but its real talk my friends. Let’s unpack this to see where we all fit.

-Job.
A job is what it sounds like- it’s just work. It might pay bills. It might be fun. Its not much else. A paper boy has a job. I had that job and it was great for a time. Cool, new and cash paid weekly. However it had no future, benefits and was not fun in the rain. Many adults live that reality and simply trudge back to it day after day. Really going to accept that?

-Career.
So u want more. You want a career. Nice. Smart choice. You have realized that there is more to working. Work is okay, and it may even get some good coin in your pocket.
Problem is what career?
What do you love?
What is your passion?
So you love that ’52 chevy your dad had. And you bought one and got it going pretty well. Paint is eh, but it runs like a dream. So you have your passion and you figure why not work for Unique Autosports. A lifetime restoring the things you love is time well spent.
Perhaps you love carpentry and you here the local 403 is hiring. Great benefits, overtime, retirement package that is guaranteed. This is really cool! You have 35 years to do what you love, get paid for it, and retire with mula, dinero, cash to boot!
Loving what you do rocks.

-Your Own Business.
Now for the heart of the matter.
So we know a job gets us coin.
A career may be more fulfilling.
And yet the best option is ahead.
In this humble mans opinion having my own business is a breath of fresh air. And while I’m not Warren Buffet or Ray Higdon I know I will be.
Having your own business puts you in the driver seat.
You make your hours.
You choose your clients.
You hire and fire staff instead of being staff. You can’t be fired from your business. You may put in no effort and lose at the game of life but that’s different.
But having your own business puts you in the driver seat.
And sorry folks but that is what built America.
Small business/large business owners, entrepreneurs breathe life into our economy. When you that is you, you rock!
Owning your own business also gives you awesome tax breaks. So that’s a super win. Make money and keep more of what you make.
Owning your own business will give you options you haven’t seen.
I also find it appealing to call my shots. I like my boss- he’s cool. However I want to take the risks, call the shots and reap greater rewards.
You can give back easier with your own business too. The pluses have added up huh?
Now I won’t kid you its a lot of work. And those who make it sacrificed. Yet wouldn’t you want to sacrifice to get ahead?
Furthermore, if you can create residual income you will be free. Let that business you love create income even when you don’t work. A carpenter can do it. A tech, a boss, a cook. And isn’t that the dream?
I like my job- its actually a good career too.
I want more though. I need to make it- on my terms. Its a strong desire I’ve had since 5 or 6 yrs old.

Feel the same?
Made a decision?
Need to step off the path?
Let’s talk.

Get where you have to, Get There Now!

31 Aug

Get Where You have to, Get There NOW.

Sorry folks tonight is going to be abbreviated. Life moves fast and I won’t waste time tonight either. Let’s get to the main course asap. A good steak doesn’t take days and neither will I.

-Tomorrow waits for no one.
Sorry my friends but action is life. When you wait for an opportunity you lose. The opportunities are there- FIND THEM. You have to be vocal, you have to be on the prowl. If not you lose. Jordan, #23- he made his window work. Will you?

-Momentum.
When you have it you’re winning. When you don’t- GET IT. Momentum will literally carry you from venture to venture. Link small and large positive movements together until you have a solid six or five figure income. Why list sixth before fifth?
Because why aim for $10,000?
Go for $100,001. That’s a key number. Don’t meet your expectations- SMASH THEM!
Momentum is a strategic advantage-use it.

-Fear.
Fear will cripple you.
Let me repeat that- Fear will cripple you.
A lot of times life gives us a window. And the only task required is to take action. The problem is people are so scared to win they lose. And guess what- I’m equally guilty. Let’s get to the top together. I used to let fear kill me. Forget crippling- it was murderous. Now I use fear to motivate me. It makes me smarter, faster, stronger.
Fear can make u weak or strong- it is simply a choice. What will you choose?
