Monday Motivation

18 Jan

A little Monday Motivation.
Call it BHAG, aka
Big
Hairy
Audacious
Goals

If it isn’t too big for where you’re at now it isn’t a goal.
Exceeding your own expectations should be your new normal.

My immediate goals and year long ones are ones I wasn’t sure I could accomplish. However, putting them on paper and sharing with my inner circle has galvanized my inner compass.

What is motivating you?
Have you written out your goals?
Do you have a specific, step by step plan to get there?
Let me know.
Like/comment if I motivate you.

Good morning Entrepreneurs

17 Jan

Starting my Sunday waaaaaaaay early.
Already looking at my goal sheet and affirmations for 2016.
Ending and beginning my days and nights with it.
Add in some non-fiction reading, gym time, and some blogging – and I KNOW this year Will vastly eclipse the last 3!
Who’s on this journey with me?

Consistency is Everything

24 Nov

He who can be consistent will go the farthest.

Okay enough of my fortune cookie flow.
Seriously though folks, it’s the person who sticks to their gym schedule, eats right every day, sleeps right, who gets the killer physique.

It’s the investor who studies the markets and tracks the mac d indicators and does their due diligence on options and puts etc- who makes a killing.
Regardless of your venture, if you are consistent you will reach the finish line.
Talent is nothing without consistency.
Look at the pitchers in the MLB.
They have to throw consistently, not just fast, but consistent.

What can you do to increase your consistency?

3 Things to Do Daily to Build Your Business

22 Nov

1) Meditate

2) write out or verbally acknowledge 3 things you are grateful for upon rising in the am.

3) write out 2-4 goals for that Day ONLY.

Think BIG, Think Positive

15 Nov

Your thoughts dictate your future. Period.
Focus your mind.
Think big. Dream big.

These two actions come before massive growth in your life, business, mlm, et al.

Wake up and think of 3 things you are grateful for. Then make sure you spend 90 seconds focusing on what it is you will do, and what that will yield.

Today you will cold call 20 people. And in the near future this action will yield your first Porsche.

This mindset will work.
Simply substitute the cold calling and the Porsche for what it is you aim to accomplish and obtain.

The Suit Does Not make You a Gentleman

13 Nov

So I was at a meeting talking about how my suit feels weird because I got bigger.
And so I needed longer ties….
You get the point.

So another guy walks up and goes on with this spiel about being a gentleman and how dying one is where it’s at etc.

You see he was thinking I was complaining or bemoaning the suit.
I told him I’m actually digging the suits and trying to re- tie my ties, so the knots would be exquisite.

Now I know what he was trying to say.
However, I’m a gentleman in my jeans and tees.

I’m a gentleman because my manner speaks volumes.
Women feel safe with me.
Kids love me.
People vote for me.
This isn’t boasting.

It’s a testament to the character my parents instilled in me.
My point this morning is simple.

You can be a gentleman in any get up.
And you SHOULD.
The bigger point is that you Need to be a gentleman- at all times.
There is no excuse to exhibit less than that.
I challenge every reader to “man up.”
If you are a Lady- you know what your equivalent is.

My basic point is that we should exude excellence at all times.
Period.

Rolex’ are cheap (price wise)

5 Nov

Yes I’m serious.
No I’m not Drunk.
A Rolex Datejust is quite cheap.

Here’s why:
My desire to own one has focused my desire, cut my spending, and fueled my drive which in turn creates value for my clients and income for me.

When I took my eyes off the baubles and decided that what I want I should have – things just fell into place.
I skipped a plethora of small purchases. Which in turn lead to less dead, and more savings.

Next I spent more time plotting on how I could get a Rolex inside of two years- a paid off, not bought on credit, or layaway- but a walk in, buy, walk out wearing it Rolex.

This fueled my mind and gave me clarity on what to do with my existing income streams, and how I might create new revenue streams upon completion of the first set.

So you see from this standpoint a Rolex does cost less.

Oh yeah, one more thing:
A rolex will hold it’s value or will go up in value. So this dream potentially adds to my net worth. 😉
